About the contest:
For the recent Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film, five teams each consisting of two members, developed an animated film within 48 hours.
Each team used the same character, Trixi, the festival’s mascot to tell a short story between :30 seconds and 2 minutes. http://www.itfs.de/en/
A couple of works about the festival by Bill Plympton.
“I love the Stuttgart Animation Festival for many reasons: The location is great! It’s right downtown, next to a beautiful city center park, with easy access to the old city. The programming is fantastic, with great films, and filmmakers from around the world gather at the nearby festival tent to drink and talk about animation. But the best part is the audiences – they’re smart, appreciative, enthusiastic, and they pack the cinemas.”
